Midwest Games 2007
|
|
The Midwest Games is an event where all the Malaysian students studying in the United States will gather and kick each other's asses in tourneys i.e basketball, soccer (bukan football ye?? ), tennis, badminton bla bla bla..and this year they even include sepak takraw (a truly M'sian game) and congkak!!!
Last year, the Midwest games was held in Wisconsin. This year we had it in NIU (Northen Illionis University in DeKalb, Illinois). Anyway, team DC lost most of the games..at least i scored one goal..teeheee...and the overall winner for this year's Midwest hails from Winsconsin

Over the weekend. MARA hosted a Seminar Persediaan Keusahawanan here in Washington D.C. About 60 students atteded the seminar. My friend from Penn State and others were there too. I am kind of lazy to write but i'll post up the pictures je okie?

Washington D.C and New York Annual Game
|
|
Over the weekend, all the staffs from the Embassy of Malaysia here in Washington D.C drove up north towards New York for the annual game..What else other than bowling/karaoke..There were more than 40 people including adults and children..The last time I was in New York was last year in Dec. Hmmm, I kind of missed New York actually..I missed the good old days where I know every single family..Now, there are tons of new families and new faces..I barely know them..They only people that I know pon all of them are going back to Malaysia for good soon..*sigh*
Enough said, the bowling tournament was hard for because there were a lot of good players out there, but they didn't scared me..I managed to maintain 150 and above..My total scored of 3 games were 527..hehe..I am still No.1 hold the record of having 2 straight wins representing Washington D.C.
Here are some of the pictures during the dinner on Saturday night and going around NYC on Sunday..
Whatever it is, I just wanted to thank uncle rahim and family for letting us guys crashed over one night at their crib..

Let me start by saying Thank You to my boi Zaki for cooking me Nasi Ayam..I somehow was craving for Nasi Ayam since like 3 weeks ago..I know I know mcm org pregnant plak, but what to do though? A man got to eat yooo..
